<p>Hey all!</p>

<p>I'm going through my applications now and my research mentor has a question: Should he submit his additional letter of recommendation (to Caltech) now, or should he wait until I've finished my application and submitted it? Does anyone know what will happen if he submits his letter of rec to Caltech and/or any other schools on the common app now - will it be lost in limbo or added to my in process application?</p>

<p>Recommenders can submit their evaluations at any time, even if you have not yet submitted your application. Colleges have processes for matching the records after the app arrives.</p>

<p>It’s okay to send them at anytime as I know my recommenders sent them in and received them and I ended up not even finishing the application for it</p>
