I’m saying KSU is a solid school. And will only enhance TCUs SOS. The big 12 overall is strong. TCU ain’t falling out !! My guess.
OSU didn’t play a top schedule. Lots of dogs in the Big 10.
We are not on the committee but my guess is that matters.

The B1G beat itself up – or, well, PSU/Mich/OSU did much of the beating up. The only real dog was Northwestern – they were terrible.
But yes, TCU should still be in. I think Michigan or Georgia will fillet them, but they deserve their spot.
Wisconsin, Iowa, and Michigan State were uncharacteristically average-to-down, but I suspect Iowa and Wisconsin will show up in their bowl games. Illinois and Purdue were up some. Maybe Maryland too.
But the B1G won’t be all it can be until Nebraska starts doing Nebraska things again. The Huskers are not finding the going easy at all in the league.

According to The Athletic’s Ari Wasserman, who covers college football, and 10 years on the OSU beat, TCU is in. And…

I like that scenario best – 1UGA/4OSU and 2Mich/3TCU
Michigan will play TCU
Georgia will play OSU.
No way OSU is getting over TCU with one close loss in an extra game albeit their conference game.
But it’s a fun weekend of college football that is for sure.
Now Michigan just has to do their thing against Purdue. I want to see a more consistent JJ like against OSU. That would give me hope for future games…
But first things first. Gotta beat Purdue. They have a nice passing attack.

Georgia crushing LSU like this can’t be good for Alabama’s prospects of sneaking in. More evidence for TCU staying in.

Anytime Brian Kelly gets spanked is fine with me. If you believe his former players and coaches…not the best human being.

No way Bama is getting in this year. But Georgia, Michigan, Bama and OSU would be interesting, just not gonna happen.
The committee will likely want to slot the teams so Michigan and Ohio State do not face off in the semifinals − the rivals played last week with Michigan dominating the second half in Columbus for a 45-23 win . It would be absurd to make Michigan beat Ohio State again just for the right to play for the national championship. Instead, if both teams win their respective games, then so be it, it will be a deserved rematch. But the committee will ostensibly prefer a new matchup, and that means Michigan vs. TCU and Georgia vs. Ohio State in the CFP semifinals. Whether Michigan at that point is No. 2 or No. 3 − perhaps it would dip below TCU if it got blasted by Purdue, but again, it has the best win of anyone: at Ohio State − won’t matter.
I hope these people are right.

They are. Just don’t see it working out any other way. I agree. No one wants to see Michigan stomp on OSU again this soon but I would be for it, if they both win out but like for Michigan to have a revenge game against Georgia.
Alabama has the strength of schedule advantage over both Ohio State and TCU.
Wishful thinking: Ohio State gets bounced out (they can’t even sell bowl tickets for goodness sakes) and Alabama moves up to #4 .
Crazy at a Michigan bar in Chicago…
