The only ranking that matters is the College Football Playoff ranking. I’ll be a happy fan if Bama can stay inside the top 4 through the end of the season.
As for the weekly rankings, I’m thrilled that overrated ND dropped completely out of both AP and Coach’s poll.

Looking forward to today’s game. Can the Horns keep up the intensity and not let down in a trap game? A kid from my kids’ HS plays for the opponent so I can’t want to see whether he gets any playing time.

Good grief that Florida - USF game was something else! Had USF not had a couple of flubbed snaps, the outcome might have been different! Really close game!

Glad to see UT respond in the second half. Last year, the team would’ve cratered instead of regrouping and dominating. Glad they finished strong, even with the QB1 out. Our QB2 did well!

Harbaugh finally made the change at QB that I’ve been yacking about with my D for almost a year. The other guy can’t run well and can’t throw a deep pass.
Yes they went far last year, but if you’re not playing your 5 star QB, then what does that say to your future recruits.
And I would have loved Blue’s chances against GA in the semi with McCarthy, not McNamara.

H and S traveled to South Bend for the game yesterday. They won – but looked pretty bad. It will be a long season for ND I’m afraid.
But for the Cal player, laying on the ground in the end zone, who nearly caught the ball falling to the ground for a TD. So close.
The oddsmakers knew something that everyone else didn’t. UDub was favored by 3-ish points, which I and others thought was weird. Michigan State made it a game late, but nonetheless, UDub winning at home was not the result I thought would happen.
