Let the admission (or rejection) process begin!

I'm sure that'll totally impress the Harvard admissions.

"...and I'm a senior member x 10000 at the college confidential forums..."

heh

^ LOL, oh wow... That just made my day.

By the way, I'm semi-freaked out by my own post count. How did I get so into this! (Gasp!)

I know, one day you are like...cc is fine, now lets do SATs
next day, you are like...cc is better than SATs...after all, kids in it use bombastic words..so it counts as an academic endeavor of boosting your vocab

hahaha - CC counts as "college research"

...but it really only makes me more panicked and anxious about next year.

It is so gonna rain here tomorrow.....and the way i see it, it fits my mood :p

So, who is your recommendation teacher gonna be??
And what is the criteria you want them to have?

Bump (and now bump has acquired the meaning of a spam word!!)

All I'm saying guys is that I doubt Margaret Atwood or William S. Burroughs ever freaked out about getting into college. I wish I could have a chill senior year. I'll leave the brilliant revelations for until after I have my doctorate.

And Harvard is the Shizz. But Iniversity of Chichago has the best alumni (in my humble opinion). Phillip Glass, Kurt Vonnegut, and carl sagan.

Any good alumni Harvard claims is automatically canceled out by Bush. (same goes for Yale)

Lol!! Bush///////

I may not be a geologist, but this thread rocks (not mine)

I imagine lots of brilliant people have stressed about silly things throughout their lives, college admissions included.

Best thing about boarding school: When I have a substitute teacher I can skip class and sleep. Hence the 8:45 post.

I guess so, It'd still be nice to NOT have four AP classes next year.

Dis-grace, I would like to lable you the champion of the CCers for Harvard 2012. You have the best story yet. (I read the unschooling thing) If anyone gets in, I hope it's you! But I don't think it will matter much, bc you're so interesting already. You'll be successful regardless.

also, does anyone know how competetive it is to be accepted as a visual arts major? I think they use the terms "visual and environmental studies" or something like that. Harvard isn't really known for it's VA program, so do you think my expected major will help me get in?

I cannot believe this thread almost died...i could never let myself live with this...SAVE THE THREAD!!

debate_addict: i've said it before, so i'll say it again. GET A LIFE. :)

That hurt yanners :(

We have lives...in books and CC!

True trackster!! I agree!! Lol!! (kiddin XD)
