Who actually reads the concept or do the concept problems on sat prep books or act prep books. They are obvious and boring. And it feels like a waste of time.
Why not just go straight to the practice tests and problems?

Lol that’s what I did. Actually, I didn’t even buy the blue book. I just photocopied every test at my school’s xerox machine. A bit time consuming, but saved $$$. Did the same for ACT and SAT II’s.

Lol omg, I hate those too… They’re easy there, but then they ask you on a test and you’re like 8|

My son did. However, I had him take a practice test first. Then I looked at his weak areas. For the SAt I have several test prep books and have found things on the internet. So he is working through the concept part and tips and practice questions on his weak areas. He isn’t taking the SAT until March, so I can’t tell you how it will work, but I will tell you that on the ACT, his first practice exam was a 28. After 6 weeks of concentrated practice, his composite on the real thing in December was a 34. So… skip over your strong areas, but DO read and practice the concept on your weak ones!!!

D2 did read the Rocket Review. But she had so many prep books(leftover from D1) that she didn’t read the rest at all.
