UNC - Chapel Hill
Duke
Georgetown
University of Richmond
Campbell University ("Gimme" School)
Davidson College
Notre Dame (BIG Stretch)

After looking at my weak ECs, I want to know how many of these are even within reason. If these are totally out of the picture for me, where would you recommend? Also, Should I re-take SAT or take the ACT? I intend to major in political science, with hopes of going into law or pursuing a PhD. I took no science 12th grade because it couldn't fit the schedule. Would it be a good idea to take a science SAT Subject to prove competency? I know it's a lot of questions, thanks guys!

Oh yeah, I'm not Catholic, but my family is (don't know if that matters). I've got no alum connections, my essay will be decent.

UNC - Chapel Hill, OOS- Reject, In state: Match/High match
Duke- Reach
Georgetown- Reach
University of Richmond- Match
Campbell University (“Gimme” School)- Safety
Davidson College- Low Reach
Notre Dame (BIG Stretch)- ( Not as much as you think)- High match/Low Reach

Thanks. For the record, i’m an In-state non-minority male.

Any others? Any opinions on my standardized test dilemma?

Oh yeah, i forgot to ask: Would getting into MENSA raise my likelihood of acceptance? by how much?

no it won’t, it may actually hurt because it makes you look desperate. MENSA doesn’t really do anything.
