Let's Compile Decision Dates

<p>All of the individual college boards are being flooded with questions about when and how decisions are released, so I thought it would be a good idea to list as many as we can in one place. </p>

<p>Please note the college, the date the decision will be released, the method of informing applicants (email, website, snail mail), the time the decisions are sent by email or posted online, and any other relevant info. Also, please be sure the information you post is correct!</p>

<p>I'll start...</p>

<p>University of Chicago
Date: "late March" with a target date of March 22
Method: snail mail for all applicants and email for some international applicants
Other: You may email them if you have not heard the decision a week or two after they have been mailed

<p>Duke Online Notification: March 30th 7 PM
Check your "The D" thing...</p>

<p>CMU Mail Notification, March 21 to mid-April; online notification 3 days after THEY SEND your decision letter</p>

<p>NYU Mail Notification: snailmail the week straddling March and April</p>

<p>Cornell Online Notification (Check your app status page): 5PM March 30th</p>

<p>Columbia E-mail notification either on March 30th or April 1st, no online status check</p>

<p>JHU: They send the snailmail on March 29th and give you an e-mail decision the night of...</p>

<p>and that's all i've got</p>

<p>Oberlin
Date: letters probably sent out on March 23 (Thursday)
No word about emails- though internationals got notification a week ago by email.

<p>Wesleyan
Date: their site says April 1st, but a poster says he's received a regular acceptance already. Maybe they'll trickle in over the next two weeks.</p>

<p>University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
Date: "on or before March 31"
Method: mailed and posted on student's individual UNC homepage
Other: Transfer notification is on or before April 21

Date: "around April 1"
Method: Online and by mail (I'm assuming the mail part)
Other: Transfer is April 30th

Other: Financial aid notification sent out at same time

<p>To add more to a couple I just looked up....</p>

<p>Columbia says: "Applicants who have applied for first-year admission will be notified of their admission decision via e-mail (after 5pm) on April 1."</p>

<p>JHU stated that decisions will be sent by mail and email sometime during the last week of March... the 29th wasn't specified</p>
