All of the individual college boards are being flooded with questions about when and how decisions are released, so I thought it would be a good idea to list as many as we can in one place.

Please note the college, the date the decision will be released, the method of informing applicants (email, website, snail mail), the time the decisions are sent by email or posted online, and any other relevant info. Also, please be sure the information you post is correct!

Oberlin
Date: letters probably sent out on March 23 (Thursday)
No word about emails- though internationals got notification a week ago by email.
Information from first-time poster 'MollyM' in Oberlin thread

Wesleyan
Date: their site says April 1st, but a poster says he's received a regular acceptance already. Maybe they'll trickle in over the next two weeks.

University of Virginia
Date: "around April 1"
Method: Online and by mail (I'm assuming the mail part)
Other: Transfer is April 30th
Info from: Admissions status page on personal UVA homepage

To add more to a couple I just looked up....

Columbia says: "Applicants who have applied for first-year admission will be notified of their admission decision via e-mail (after 5pm) on April 1."

JHU stated that decisions will be sent by mail and email sometime during the last week of March... the 29th wasn't specified
