Let's Figure Out Today's Experimental/Forms

did anyone get the test with the bioluminescence, asian sighting, poetry etc, but with FOUR MATH SECTIONS? the math section with the grid ins (average speed, etc) was okay but the math section AFTER that one had some really hard problems (peanuts and calories, radius 1 circle in triangle)??

I think the 3rd math section was experimental- the one with the inequality question about the retiree and the mean question if you take away an integer. And yes, I had the same test as you.

So everyone has completely different experimentals? Does that mean even if say we all have 4 CR reading that we won't have the same experimental reading section?

Possibly. It seems though that there were two basic versions of the critical reading - I had the version bioluminescence, asian/detective, translations. Plus, I had a 4th CR section, which, since many people seem to have had the three above, is probably an experimental.

I had that version, too. So the Venice passage was probably experimental? That was the easy one, too. :-(

Yeah it seems like if you had the bioluminescence, asian/detective, translation sections - a 4th CR section would likely be experimental. This is good because I had that passage about a literary critic that was truly very difficult, much more so than the translation one which I didn't find too bad.

And yeah - its also likely because I did not have a Venice section.

Hm... I wish the chimpanzee one was experimental. That was really really rocky for me.

Well the chimpanzee one was only a set of short passages so it's no big deal. And I think it was grouped with a fairly easy long passage(s).

I had 4 CR sections - African mom & daughter, 2 short passages about Coleridge, one with 2 longer passages on Shakespeare, and another comparing 2 longer passages that I can't remember at the moment. o_O Does this sound familiar to ANYONE? I'm really really hoping the Shakespeare was experimental, but I'm not sure.

i had 4 CR sections too but i didn't have any Shakespeare. Did anyone have the one about disneyland?

I didn't have a Disneyland one, but I'm remembering now that one of my passages was on art and Indivualism... If you had that one, then it's likely that both Disneyland and Shakespeare were experimental.

i had 4 CR
1, Ethiopian mother and daughter
2, two comparing passages about Coleridge
3, Art and Individualism
4, shorter one

i htink 2 had a comparing passages

so its either 1, 3 expeirmental for me.
i hope its ethiopian one....... but too much ppl had it..

Oooh I hope my last one about that stupid poem translation was experimental...

I had 4 CR sections too:

-Disneyland (which was quite interesting!)
-Robots and intelligence (some guy named Turing)
-The art and individualism one
-The Zimbabwe mother writing a letter to her daughter, and how her daughter was questioning all of the customs

I have no idea which one was experimental... I hope one that I did badly on...

I had the last 3 you listed, AquaRocket... Just not Disneyland. I'm about 98% sure now that Shakespeare was experimental, which is very comforting to me. :)

I had 4 CR sections, from what I remember they were the art and individualism, robots/the future, African mother thing, and a novelist in some ancient ruins who discovers a mortar and pestel.

I didn't do so good on the asian sighting one so I hope it could be experimental. How would they incorporate the essay score into the writing score? And does anyone know how much does one question worth? This is my first time so I don't know anything about the procedure at all. wow, all this talk is giving me a headache. Anyway good luck for everyone

Great, the Disneyland passage was probably the experimental section. Gah, of all the ones, it had to be the one that had the most interesting passage and that I probably did the best on. =|

So it seems as though for the CR the experimental passages were Disneyland and the Ancient Ruins one.

I also had an experimental reading passage - but not either of those.

It was about a man describing his experience as a literary critic. I'm almost positive it was experimental because my other three CR sections were the bioluminescent, asiansighting/detective, and translation passages.
