<p>This board is somewhat lacking in vitality. Lets use this thread to tell each other why we personally chose duke over other colleges. This will help people who are doing the Duke vs. ___ decisions.</p>
<p>I picked it for various reasons. Here's a few.
1) Its an awesome school close to home.
2) Its biology program. Who else has a huge forest, primate center, and a marine laboratory?
3) The students are smart, amazing people.
4) The campus is beau-ti-ful.
5) Main reason- Duke is a good school, and its getting better all the time. Unlike some of its counterparts, Duke isn't just happy the way it is- it tries to improve. :)</p>
