Woot!! Why, thank you ever so much, NeuroChick  As do you! I probably should have added It’s a Wonderful Life under favorite movies and guilty pleasures…heh

Jason Mraz! IDHGDFGDSFG.
I’m obsessed with I’m Yours and it’s inspired me to learn to play guitar. Now if only I could learn to sing… :)

The appeal of Twilight? There’s not much of a storyline to be honest. The appeal is mostly in the characterization of Edward Cullen, which is largely just fluffy vague adjectives like “inhumanly, devastatingly beautiful.” The author just painted this perfect looking boy who is madly in love with an ordinary girl. Thus, every teenage girl just spins what she wants in an ideal boy into his character. That’s why most Twilight conversations go like this:
Boy (looks at huge book that a girl is staring at, smiling stupidly): Is that Twilight?
Girl 1 (gushing): Yes!
Girl 2: OMG, Edward Cullen!
Girl 1: He’s AMAZING, and so SEXY!
Girl 2: I know! I’m going to marry him.
Boy: You two are idiots. Twilight is dumb.
Girl 2: You’re just jealous you can’t be the perfect man.
Boy (in disgust and confusion): Whatever.

^^ Hahaha. I’ve been that boy before. When I opened my friend’s book, the first thing I saw was, “Looking more like a Greek god than anyone had the right to, ____.” I relentlessly make fun of her for it.

i’m beginning to think that i won’t be big on twilight… i’d practically be that boy.
considering the fact that i am pretty much always “just one of the guys” and i actually like it that way.

Haha this FB group is awesome. Lol Oprah is a white man! Lmao! (No negative connotations implied)

haha oh shush
and im hardly a man

^Rofl!!!

no clue. I’d say my greatest failure is not making use of my potential. I figure if I spent more time at math/programming/chess, I would be able to compete at a national level easily. too bad.

books. eating. video games. hanging out with friends.

Top. or second to Princeton. but top.

interesting story about twilight.
I was at Indigo’s with a couple friends. we saw these twilight posters. we wanted to buy one and stick it in a friend’s room when he wasn’t looking (this friend is… insecure about his masculinity? he won’t touch the pink wii controller. or anything pink really). would have been hilarious. but the poster cost more than the freaking book cost. so we bought the book and stuck it in his room. none of my friends would take it after that, so I just took it and read it. XP

should i even bother to reply…

Really, what is all this comotion about Twilight? I’ve never even heard about it until a week ago when all the girls in my school started talking about it…apparently from what I’ve heard it’s about a vampire who falls in love with a normal girl??? Please enlighten me lol.

ahh, okay. i won’t read twilight then. it’ll only give me unreal fantasies about love, just like p&p did. darn that mr. darcy!

has anyone watched true blood? it really tops twilight cuz twilight is for tweens and true blood for adults i guess you could say.
