lets play statistics!

based on the data of % admit rate of international students at the schools i have applied to, I have 50% change of being rejected at all schools.

whats yours :D

I already got rejected at Duke, so Dartmouth, Cornell, and my one and only dream: Princeton, are left. so...for int'ls applying for fin aid:

Cornell: 5%
Dartmouth: 5%
Princeton: 8%
total: 18% = 82% chance of rejection.

Looking at it from common-sense, if I get rejected at cornell, then im not gonna get into princeton. so thats a double whammy for me. so overall, it'l be 90% rejection at all. doesnt that make me feel GOOD! :(

you only applied to 3 schools? (and mega-reachesque schools at that)

no, 5. those three above + GAtech and Duke.

I got into 5/6 schools in UK:

Imperial (for CS)
Southampton (CS)
Lancaster (mechatronics)
Warwick
York
REJECTED: UCL

How about you?

i got waitlisted at williams

waiting on nyu, cornell, hyp

TT

(btw im in korea as well.. we find out 7am tomorrow morning hehe)

how do koreans know about schools like williams/amherst?

uh.. i guess by research?
