ALL CREDITS GO TO STUDIOUSMAXIMUS WHO ORIGINALLY STARTED THIS THREAD IN THE COLLEGECONFIDENTIAL CAFE. I JUST COPY PASTED, ALPHABETIZED & ADDED LACs.

If you're not familiar with a plus/minus ranking game, here are the rules:

1) You may play once a day (called a 'turn')

2) Each turn, you may add a point to one college, and subtract a point from another. State your changes at the end of the post, and make the change to the actual numbers beside the colleges. Obviously, you should copy and paste the post before you instead of rewriting the entire list.

3) Once a college reaches '0', it is removed from play and given a ranking (ex. 'UVA is the 23rd ranked college on College Confidential.').

4) When all but one are eliminated, the remaining college is named the winner.

So, do you want to find out where your favorite colleges stand? YOU decide their fate. Once all the colleges have been ranked, I'll post a final list of the rankings.

A little additional info: The colleges present on the list are those ranked in the top 25 (for both universities and LACs) for the 2011 US News rankings (since there's a three way tie for #25, there are actually 27 colleges on the list). Yes, I know these rankings aren't necessarily accurate, but I needed a cut-off point (the game wouldn't be any fun if there were too many on the list). If your favorite college isn't included, sorry. I can't please everyone. The single addition and subtraction rule is subject to change, though. Eventually, a few colleges will share hundreds of points, and it'll be beneficial to allow posters to subtract two points while only adding one.
