Let's predict the SAT essay for Oct 4th!

i dont wanna do the old sat essays cuz they're not likely to appear again,so i wanna write some essays that hav not been surfaced before. wat should i write about? give me some topics!maybe it'll be the oct 4th one?! thanks

lol.. the chances of this are soo slim. So many topics! Either way.. don't you think CB checks this site regularly to see what we've come up with and how we're prepping etc to try to exploit us?

at this time? no, everything is set i think. even if we predicted the right essay, what's cb gonna do? retract all the tests just to prevent 3-4 individuals because they studied!?!
let me begin with one
" should we take chances? "

"Why is the SAT better than the ACT?"

^ ? ? -.-??? ?

There's a HOT SAT essay topic list as well. Its impossible to pinpoint a specific question but you can get a good sense of the type of topics that appear frequently. Do a google search or something. I'm not sure but i've seen a lot of topics dealing with the importance of technology, so you should probably be ready for that. The old essays topics aren't going to appear again, obviously, but they may show up with a different wording. The topics covered are ridiculously broad, just have a solid list of literary/historical examples and you should be fine.

^ LOL. I think I'll refute ~_~

CB wants money despite its non-profit status

ACT is "fairer" and have shown to be better for college prediction

Though people may argue reasoning ability is critical for college success, it has been proven that high SAT scorers have often times faltered in college.

Woo! 3 paragraphs already!

Achievement Attitude Character Control
Determination Discipline Failure Focus

Health Knowledge Leadership Love
Opportunity Performance Perseverance Strength
Success Survival Teamwork Victory

Self-Image Hope Encouragement Decisions

i think im gona write one about determination lol....

"How much wood can a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck can chuck wood?"
Literary and historical examples only.

why did the chicken cross the road?

Example 1: Fast Food Nation depicts the cruel realities of the modern poultry plant. A shameful and horrific characteristic of the U.S food industry that is bound to send chickens scattering to the other side of the street.
Example 2: Charles Darwin, widely regarded as the "father of evolution", describes evolution as the process of "The survival of the fittest". The diversity of organisms on earth is largely due to the evolution that has taken place over the course of millions of years, creating a heirchy with humans now on the top of the food chain. Chickens have undergone subtle evolutionary changes, thus they are likely to abscond to the other side of the street at the sight of predators.
Example 3: . To get away from nbafan =)

"Is honesty the best policy?"

"What is the best virtue?"

"Is neutrality better or better to choose a side?"

quix- make sure you use the cabe structure for the intro. and lmaoooo for the rest. i seriously hope that is the topic now.
