lots still to do and I’m getting up in 5 hours. I love school :(

^^Perhaps you could go to a prestigious school and still save that money. Many private schools have better funding, and so in turn offer better financial aid and bigger scholarships than state schools. (This is probably especially the case in California -_-)

So…I haven’t done my AP summer homework yet…And the site I need to go on to access the instructions is down, and will continue to be down for the rest of the summer due to maintenance. When will I ever learn?

we’ll see what MA has to offer me haha…i will most likely end up going wherever provides the most financial aid. that’s why i did what i did. i applied to many schools, yes, but only ones where i could see myself being happy!

and neither have i…school starts the 7th. o.o why do i do this to myself?

Haha, mine starts the 2nd…Oops? xD Ah well, it’s not like I’m taking 5 AP’s. I admit to being a slacker and only taking one…AP Stats. I guess that’s what sports are for…Whoo!

Hey, by the way, I’m looking for great financial aid as well. If that’s the goal, what would be a good number to apply to? I was thinking around 7 or 8. How many did you have in mind?

I am such an idiot. First all-nighter of the school year and I have a killer workout starting in about 4 hours.

I’m so jealous of y’all who don’t have to go back for another week haha :)

Okay, something has struck me last night. Don’t you just loathe finance :/

On the bright side, I love care packages :)

Something struck me last night too. And all I did was say “Make me a sandwich”.

honestly, i’m not looking for GREAT financial aid. i just need help and would prefer to save as much money as possible. that’s kinda how i made my list. i made it around schools i know i could find myself being happy at regardless and decide pretty much based on how much aid i get. i’m not expecting a lot coming from a well-off suburban MA town with two parents who make ~100k a year each. (it may seem like a lot, but it barely covers the bills lately). so my list is gonna end up being 10-12 schools, depending on if i feel like dropping bates and bowdoin.

EDIT: also, for lunch today, i went to friendly’s. and got the grilled cheese burgermelt. yes, that is a burger sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches. i couldn’t move for a good 30 minutes. BUT IT WAS SOO WORTH IT.

it isn’t even september yet and I’m already getting out my rain boots. screw you, washington.

I miss my summer camp friends…u.u
I wanna go to Europe!

yaay for Winners and thrift-store shopping

^^Me too! I went to France during the summer, but I’d really like to see more of Europe (and other places too).

209 out of 641. ***!!! I’M NEVER GETTING INTO VANDERBILT NOW!

Yay for everyone else who will probably be rejected from their #1’s.

Welcome to my world ilovefgump.

It blows. No JHU, or Vandy. UGA it is.

I will most likely be rejected from my #1 (Dartmouth). It’s sad. Good thing there’s always Hamilton College! I may just apply there ED 1 because I’m pretty sure I would be accepted and that would take away much unneeded hassle.

True. I guess I can save $50 on the Vandy app.

^You might want to apply anyways, perhaps ED 1.

Vandy’s ED is binding and I don’t know anything about my financial aid situation other than my EFC is 0.

Well, that sucks then. Too bad for us.
