Let's say random things

^ Define “mess”…

Nothing too sexual. I was at a computer and he made me scoot over and then put his arms around me in order to type. Then he just kept messing with my hair.

I totally get the award for being the world’s worst girlfriend…

Obama says this is “the worst recession of our lifetimes”. Bit of a slam to those of us 80 and up…

A recession is different than a depression. Though the economic crisis that we’re kind of coming out of now lasted longer and was worse than a “recession” generally is.

Whatever happened, you’re being too hard on yourself.

I am procrastinating right now…big time.

An open book quiz, crossword puzzle, definitions, worksheet, Biome project, skills practice worksheet, and I have to read 240 pages out of “Wish You Well” by David Baldacci.

I haven’t done any of it yet. It’s all due tomorrow.

I’m done with my homework. Just do it when I have it and it’s all good.

The only homework I ever have is to study for upcoming tests. I have three next week, plus a simple Astronomy quiz on material we will cover in one class. Two of the tests are for online classes, one in a testing center, and one on my computer (so I can use my book).

Though I have to work on a bunch of speeches for the debate tournament on Saturday. I’m quite happy with having tomorrow off.

Man, Cloverfield is sad. :(

In that case his statement is like saying “This is the biggest medium-sized egg I’ve ever seen”.

Haha, not quite, but I appreciate the metaphor.

Well, i would not mind cooking that egg then since im pretty hungry :(

Our school is BORING…

I am such a failure and an underachiever.

I have a debate tournament (Congress) on Saturday. This is one piece of legislation:
**
A Resolution to Eliminate Narcissistic Behavior in High School Students
**
1 Whereas: currently many students exhibit signs of narcissistic characteristics and
2 behavior; and
3 Whereas: this problem has negative manifestations to both the individual and
4 society and something must be done to address this problem;
5 Whereas: these manifestations often lead to feelings of failure in the subject and
6 others who come in contact with these individuals; and
7 Whereas: By telling children that they are the best and produce perfect work
8 parents, teachers and others create a false view of reality and cause
9 children to be unable to deal with criticism
10 Therefore, be it resolved by this Palm Beach Catholic Forensic league Student
11 Congress assembled here that: we eliminate narcissistic behavior in
12 students by putting an end to the grade inflation and excessive praise.

It reminded me of this website. Incidentally, I think this is a stupid piece.

^ Thank god that’s not real. I’m laughing at that.

I know the best thing to say would be, no you’re not. But in my current situation I just have to say, join the club.

It’s so messed up. And to think, I may have to give a speech on it. In negation, of course.

I’m traveling with my group to a theater competition tomorrow.
Can someone please wish me good luck? :)

oh thank GOD for thursday morning sleep-ins.
