<p>I bought this book, * Brain Building in just 12 weeks * by Marilyn vos Savant (you know the lady with the 228 IQ on the old Stanford-Binet scaled test) and I’m thinking of returning it. I can’t remember why I bought it. I think it might have something to do with the fact that I thought she was one of the smartest individuals in the world, but this book is too watered down to enjoy anything from it. </p>
<p>On a tangent topic, does anyone know any good books on informal logic? I have a weakness in finding assumptions in arguments and I want to get better at that.</p>

<p>I just returned that abominable book! Total waste of $14. I’m about to print off 450 pages so I can read this book (An introductory Logic). Don’t worry, it’s totally legal since that book is from the 1800s.</p>

<p>Just printed off my 421 page book. It is huge. It’s like a textbook. I need a new printer drum also. I hope it’s not that expensive. I ended up printing another open source logic book which seems so much more useful. It is called Elementary Lessons in Logic. </p>
<p>And, MIThopeful16, if you have friends you can have fun with, go to your homecoming game. If you hate everyone in your school, it’s not worth it (it’s not that uncommon when most people in your school are idiots).</p>
