Lets settle this UW w GPA thing once and for all for Penn State

http://admissions.psu.edu/facts/studentbody/a

Are these ^ GPAs weighted or unweighted

And does this graph: http://admissions.psu.edu/info/counselors/bubble_chart06.pdf

show weighted or unweighted GPAs

Please, someone give me a correct answer, not an I think.

Because I myself think that the graph is weighted and the link on top says "4.0 scale"

LETS GET THIS STRAIGHTENED OUT

Check this thread out: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/penn-state-university-park/602423-update-transcript.html

The lady says that her daughter has a 3.3 uw and a 3.9 w with i think 1920 sats.
Mck2100 then says "those SAT scores and a 3.9 she really shouldn't be worried. most likely, she will get in"

So is it the weighted or unweighted?

Please someone give me a definitive answer?

It's weights...EVERYTHING penn state does is weighted as far as GPA goes! just look at the bubble graph the GPA goes up to 4.40

Dude, it's been straightened out a long time ago. PSU looks at weighted gpa's if you have one. If not, tough luck.

Really!, i didn't know it was straightened out already, I just couldn't find the answer and I searched the discussion boards for a while.

Thanks! :)
