NOT ME.
Seriously. Anyone thinking they will be accepted is seriously misguided, because this would account for people having a guaranteed acceptance based solely on numbers. But, as seen before, MIT rejects 2400s.

@XoXdreamerXoX Yep. I don’t expect acceptance, but it sure would be amazing if, for some strange reason, MIT found me worthy enough of acceptance. Although at this point I feel the committee’s decisions are somewhat arbitrary because 60% or more of the applicant pool are very motivated and intelligent students.
Lol I’m not going to get accepted
MIT has a low enough acceptance rate that no one can expect acceptance - although of course it is more likely for some people than for others.
@infiniteCircle MIT has said before that 80% of its applicant pool is academically qualified to attend MIT. However, much fewer are good fits for the college.
MIT has also said that they could probably make 2-3 completely disjoint very good classes of students from its applicant pool.
Haha everyone check their email! MIT sent an awesome video!

**Decisions date has officially been announced as 3/14 at 6:28 PM EST/b
I don’t know how I am going to focus for the next seven days! Accepted or Rejected, I just want to know X_X
@Peggy1897 - I really like your profile pic
One more week to go, but their video is awesomeee. It makes a Star Wars fan go crazy. Love it!
I have this 18 page paper due and 2 novels to read and I don’t know how I’m going to get it done with decisions looming.
18 page paper? 18 specifically? That’s nuts
@tutututututuru Lol, that’s my English Lit teacher for you.
Thank you! @smartypants57 Hopefully, we get a third season!
I feel so bad… my English Lit teacher makes us do nothing. She does nothing. She doesn’t read the books she assigns, she doesn’t have lesson plans – we read Othello out loud in class for 3 weeks. She gets her tests off sparksnotes. That’s why GPA means nothing I guess.
@tutututututuru Join the club! We are reading Othello as well!
Lmao no chance I’m getting in, not sure why I come back to this thread
@ChemFire085 I hope you’re actually reading it – reading out loud in class has done nothing for me.
@Hermit9 you never know. I bet the people who were accepted doubted they would be. Everyone has a small chance.
One can only hope. Son is waiting for 8 more decisions, only MIT he really really cares.
5 more days to go!
