I've been thinking about self studying this subject this year... i'm currently taking ap chem and have always been interested in environmental science, especially weather (one of my hobbies. i have a weather station. =D ).

for those of you who have taken the exam, how is it? can i self study it fairly easily??

-will

interestingly, i just looked up the grade distributions for chem, bio, and enviro, and i was surprised to see that enviro has the lowest rate of getting a 5....

AP Enviro has the lowest rate of people getting fives becase not many people have a class for it and most people who take it self-study it. Since it is one of the easiest APs out there many people don't take it very seriously and don't really study much for it. I took it without any preparation except for what I learned in my AP Bio class and got a four.

I am currently taking AP Environmental as a class. I can tell you first-hand, that the material is either common sense, or pretty specific. There isn't much material that falls into the middle. Because of this, I can see how people can score fairly well without the class, however, this also explains why there are not many 5's.
