I am a transfer applicant to William and Mary that hopes to get admission for the Fall’20. I have been checking my mail everyday religiously at least 3 times a day in hopes of finding a cipher. A lot of people I have talked to, have gotten the cipher during this week and I am starting to get very scared as I haven’t received one. Since I am not a citizen, I have gotten an email from the domicile officer to provide documents to see if I may be eligible for in-state tuition as I have been a Virginian resident for the last 6 years. I called in and sent in the needed documents. Does this mean anything? I would like to believe that I put out a strong application with my essay, ECs, and recommendations but my college GPA was a 3.67, with all As and 1 B in a 1 credit class for midterms and my high school GPA was a 3.3(ik it sucks but I had a lot that happened that I explained in the personal statement). Also the major I hope to get into is Neuroscience. Does all this mean a possible rejection and that I should look for an email with the subject “William and Mary Admission Decision” rather than the “Good news comes in small packages” one. I am so passionate about attending this school that it’s really stressing me out and worrying me but I know that I have put my best effort and tried everything I could.
When did they tell you , you would know? they may be a little extra busy now with working at home and trying to get a full freshman class, , not sure if transfer are as high on their list right now, you have done all you can, time to sit tight, not easy but it is out of your hands.
