Let's think of ideas for new AP courses.

-AP Physics C: Thermodynamics/Waves/Sound

-AP Multivariable Calculus* (Calc CD as posted above^^^)

-AP Differential Equations*

-AP Linear Algebra*
Note: Courses marked with () could be taken in any order after a sucessful completion of AP Calculus BC.

-AP Organic Chemistry (to be taken after AP Chemistry)

-AP Pre-Calculus (I know this one is strange, but it would definitely help students when they reach AP Calculus)

-AP Intro to Engineering Design
then///
-AP Principles of Engineering
then///
-AP Digital Electronics

I was wondering if there as a way we express this ideas to College Board.

AP Artificial Intelligence
AP Education Theory
AP Epidemiology
AP Evolution
AP Film
AP Gender Studies
AP Intellectual History
AP Legal Studies
AP Linguistics
AP Medieval Studies
AP Native American Culture & History
AP Poetry
AP Religion
AP Science Fiction
AP Science History
AP Swahili
AP Theater, maybe?
AP World Literature

AP Anthropology
AP Arabic Language
AP Asian History and Literature
AP Astrophysics and Astronomy
AP Business and Financial Mathematics
AP Greek Language and Culture
AP Greek Mythology
AP Media and Journalism
AP Multivariable Calculus
AP Particle Physics
AP Shakespeare
AP Trigonometry and Analytical Geometry

AP Lunch, foā€™ shoā€™

AP Geometry (I found Honors really fun)
AP Astronomy
AP Game Theory and AP Movie History would be great!

I second whoever said bringing back AP French Litā€¦

I think an AP Education class would be good for prospective teachersā€¦

AP astronomy would be awesome!

Wait, so they did away with French Lit? I thought our school was just stupid and wasnā€™t offering it anymoreā€¦

AP Astronomy would be pretty awesome. Might make me more motivated to study for the astronomy class Iā€™m currently in.

I think an AP Neuroscience class would be pretty sweet, only because I really really like neuroscienceā€¦

AP Astronomy
AP Calculus 3
AP Differential Equations
AP Ancient History
AP Midieval History
AP Organic Chemistry
AP Earth Science/Geology
AP Religion/religion history
AP Zoology
AP Botany

Someone suggested that AP Arabic wouldnā€™t have enough interest or that it would be too difficult to learn the alphabet. On the contrary, people who speak Arabic are in high demand in the work force and the militaryā€¦and the alphabet is actually not that bad because itā€™s the kind of language where each letter makes ONE sound and thatā€™s itā€“unlike French, for example. But maybe Iā€™m just biased because Iā€™m Arab. :)

I love all the AP Philosophy ideas.

What about AP Womenā€™s History?

AP Legal Studies?

I am in AP Lunch (experimental class), but I think AP Math History would be fun. And the AP PE joke was funny, but I can see it happening because colleges (or some) require PE credits. So if one wanted to test out of them they could have AP tests for different varsity/intramural sports that most HSs offer. AP Bowling, would win.

Why Music History? Isnā€™t that part of art history?
I would take it though, so yeah maybe.
Asian history is also good.
Besides MV calc, which you mentioned, there should be more post-Calc courses such as Linear Algebra, maybe real-analysis/complex, etc. thereā€™s a plethora of history courses but far fewer for math. Iā€™d like Compsci AB back, except maybe as a B version that just covers far more advanced topics than A.
Astronomy maybe, and theological history.

bring back french lit.
also they should have like Super-AP - dumb name i know- which are far harder than regular APs

AP sex. hahahah :D

AP Geology

oh, geology is a good one. i love geology and my school has an honors geology course that can be used for up to 3 units of transferrable college creditā€¦ but not the same as an AP though

I agree. Although that may just be because I want to major in neuroscience, but you knowā€¦

AP Acting or Theatre History would be swell.

sociology maybe?

oh and how can I forget, AP Hindi (Itā€™s probably the most significant indian language today, although my dream would be AP Malayalam, but thatā€™s not going to happen)

AP Call of Duty anyone?
