Letter for "particularly outstanding admitted students"?

<p>I got into Princeton last week, and I got this letter from them today saying this:</p>

<p>"...Dean Rapelye tells me that you are one of the particularly outstanding admitted students whom she believes would make a great match with Princeton. I wanted to send along this note expressing my appreciation of your having applied to Princeton..."</p>

<p>And attached is a list of the faculty in each dept along with their contact information. Does every admitted student get this? Or should I feel special?</p>

<p>I felt special at first, too. :stuck_out_tongue: But the way it’s worded, I think she means that every student who was admitted out of the applicant pool was particularly outstanding.</p>

<p>No; it came earlier. Maybe it wasn’t sent to everyone.</p>
