Hey everyone,
I got waitlisted and responded that I would still like to be included in the pool. The area where I indicated this didn’t have any place for attachments or words, so I was wondering if it is worth it at all to send a letter.
Thanks

Do you have something to say other than “I want to remain on the waitlist” or “Princeton is my top choice and I will attend if taken off the WL?” If not, then no, since that is a given, at least from Princeton’s PoV.
The one person I know to have been admitted off of Princeton’s waitlist sent more than one letter indicating their continuing interest.
Although I would posit that this is a classic example of correlation does not imply causation
I’m not going to share the details of this applicant’s journey, but can report that* they believe* that the diligence of their communication was a primary determinative factor leading to their ultimate acceptance.
Any news on the waitlist?
