letter from a current student?

i got a letter from a current uva student saying that "the admissions office passed your name along as a strong applicant for the class of 2009." and then it goes on about how good uva programs are and that he'd be happy to answer any questions. it's hand-written and postmarked 24th. what does this mean? it's not a likely, is it?:(

what are your stats

sounds like a likely!

Echols!, Echols! (unless you're an engineer)

hehe i am an engineer. :P so no echols for me i guess..

misty what are your Stats

but i thought about it, and it's not a likely cuz a student sent me this. i mean, i dont think the admissions will let a student know whether someone is "likely" to get in or not. :P thanks you guys.:)
