Hey guys, I just got a letter today (Feb 5th) from the Chancellor of the school. It kinda went, congratulations on your acceptance, our mission is to provide a personalized education, our faculty are awesome, and please choose Chapman.

The letter was dated Jan. 30th.

I'm wondering if anybody else got a letter like this, and if so, did they get it before or after the financial aid package? I'm still waiting for mine and i'm kinda getting jumpy about it...=

hey, yeah i got that letter yesterday(2/5 also)..(which actually led me to this site, in a way!)...i have recieved a letter about a chancellor's scholarship, that was sometime last week.....

Financial aid didn't come till later....weeks and weeks later, after my son was admitted early action last year. I want to say it came sometime in early March, and he got accepted mid January.

Because they are crunching numbers, they will process according to when they get your FAFSA. This is why it is good to submit your fafsa each year, as soon as you can after the applications open up online.

Ohhh ok! Thank you littlegreenmom, that clarifies things a lot for me. :) I just sent in my FAFSA last week, so I guess i'll have a bit to wait! Thanks!

I just got one in the mail today too! Haha, its actually kind of funny! I got two envelopes from Chapman in the mail. I opened the first one and it was the Chancellor's letter and I thought, "Ok, thats great." And the second one was a conformation of my Enrollment deposit and application, saying that I am now going to be getting info about class selection soon. :) Kind of ironic, guess I kind of jumped the ship before the Chancellor's letter asking to come to Chapman arrived. I was just too sure thats where I want to be!

Haha that's so funny! I really wanted to send my acceptance slip in as soon as I got it, but i'm going to wait so maybe they'll give me more financial aid to get me to go to the school. I guess i'm just waiting for financial aid now, I hope i get it soon!
