OK so I got my letter of assurance yesterday and I was wondering how long it takes to get the offer of admission. The only thing WP is waiting on is my medical stuff and I called yesterday and DODMERB told me that I was qualified and that they posted it yesterday morning. Just curious.

My son had an LOA the 3rd week in Nov. His app was complete 4 weeks earlier & he had to wait on the nomination interview until mid-Dec. The official nomination was put into the Candidate database this past Monday & the offer of appointment came today. Very handsome looking offer, I might add. Truly impressed at how efficient Army is with this process.

Best of luck to you. I assume it won't be long for you either, since your DODMERB got entered.

OK thank you. Im so excited

:) Keep an eye on that mailbox! I'm betting it won't be long! A big fat USPS Priority pack is how my sons was delivered.

Cheers!

It really depends on how busy they are but I wouldnt expect it to take too long, congratulations

I'd say they are getting pretty swamped right now as all the nominations from the 535 Senators and Congressmen filter in. For instance, I recieved my Letter of Assurance today (Jan 18), yet it was dated December 28, 2006. You have to give them credit though for sorting out 10,000 applicants to only 1,300.

Well I just got a phone call from my senator and they told me that my offer would be mailed on the 18th of January. I cant wait, Im so excited. Does anyone know how long it takes to get to get mail from new york to oklahoma?

i'm assuming about a week...i'm not sure
