letter of appeal

:) does anyone know where I would mail/email the letter? I've emailed admissions asking for further information but they haven't gotten back to me... It would be GREATLY GREATLY appreciated

Where else have you applied?

hugs

What are you appealing?

He wants to appeal denial of admission.

And I think it would be wiser (and more productive) to choose a school that you have been admitted to.

Amandarin, I am very sorry you were not accepted, however, I do not think that appealing will have any affect on the final outcome. Your not being accepted most likely has less to do with how qualified you may be or what kind of person you are, but more to do with the huge numbers of applicants (transfers included) and the fact that very few students leave once they matriculate.
As disappointing as it is, try to look at the positive, were you accepted any any other schools? If so, take a fresh look at them. If not, perhaps take a fresh look at the school you are attending.

uhhh @susgeek… I’m clearly a female hince Amanda-rin… but anyways

@mumof2boyz… so my current 4.0 means nothing? meh i guess that’s sad to hear but I’m still appealing even if susgeek says it’s not worth it.
I’ve been accepted to UMiami… but have recently been told that we can’t afford it because of the messy divorce and the fact that my father refuses to pay for any of my schooling now. And I don’t qualify for any need based aid. The only reason I’m appealing is because my aunt is offering to pay $20K for me if I end up getting into lehigh because that’s where she went.
And I can’t stay where I am…

and also because I would enter as a sophomore they only had fall 2010 to look at and I got a 3.3 due to the fact that I was diagnosed with Lupus, and had to repeatedly keep coming back from school for doctors/hospital such and yeah

You could have also been A-Mandarin… As in a tangerine ;)

True, I am partial to liking mandarins

If you feel strongly, send a letter to Admissions and see what happens. Good luck.
