Letter of continued interest. A must?

I had got the good deferral letter. So, I sent my mid term grades but didn’t send the letter. Will that hurt my chances?

The website is down. So, I’ll check my decision in some time. But somebody enlighten me on the above question. Thanks.

I was also deferred but I was accepted this morning without sending in a letter of interest so it’s not necessary and I don’t think it will hurt your chances. Good luck!

I would say it’s a must. I also received the good deferral letter, so I asked a representative in a chat if sending a letter would hurt me in any way. She said that it would be fine; when they say they don’t need more materials, they aren’t talking about the letter of continued interest.
