My friend is writing a letter of continued interest after being waitlisted at URI. She’s confident that it’s her first choice, but financial aid is a factor. How should she word her strong interest without saying “if admitted I will attend”? (because that would be slightly misleading). She’s not a strong writer so I told her I’d help her write it. She has a second choice that she likes and can afford, but URI is still her first choice.
