I agree with @Ohiodad57. OTOH, and while it’s probably too late for @Ironmom1’s athlete, if others are out there about wondering about this…IMHO it’s good form to complete all OVs before committing verbally to a school–even if you’re pretty certain which school is your first choice. Having gone through this twice, I have yet to see a coach blink when told that the athlete needs to wait until after the final OV to make a decision. This seems to me to be one-half good manners (the school may have already incurred non-refundable expenses on the athlete’s behalf) and one-half good sense-- why not keep the options open for one more week? There are athletes who have changed their minds based on the official.
