For my restrictive early action application, I asked my English and Biology teacher for the two required letters of recommendation and my Art teacher for the additional letter of recommendation which I am going to mail physically since the college only accepts a maximum of two letters. And I know my Engilsh teacher did not submit his letter yet but will submit it over the weekend.

However, on my common application account, it shows that for my application, the school forms are completed, and under it, it says that my "Recommenders" were my Biology teacher and my Art teacher while my English teacher does not appear on the page at all. This might be because my counselor asked my art teacher to upload hers into naviance so that my counselor can print it out and mail it to the school. So I'm guessing that naviance/commonapp took my art teacher's additional letter and used it as one of the two required ones.

My question is, will my English teacher still be able to upload his letter, and if so, will it still be part of my application for the college even after my school forms show up as completed on commonapp and the college only accepts two? Does the fact that my art teacher's name showed up on my common app school forms page mean that her letter took up one of the two spots? If so, does my couselor have the power to withdraw one of the letters?

Thank you sooo much!
