How much influence would a letter of rec by a member of the Board of Trustees at a particular school have on your admission to that school assuming your stats are around that schools average?
Great essay and letter of rec are very important. Lets say the college Application is test of total 100 numbers and it is divided into section then i would say that essay and letter of rec will have 60 numbers out of 100. So focus on this section as well as academic section.
Frankly @haidarasjad doesn’t make sense to me. The rule of thumb about rec letters is that if a college accepts them, they should first and foremost be from your teachers who know you and can vouch for you.
The trustee knows you little I presume. In general, the “who you know” letters mean very little. What type of school is this? That can influence this scenario however.
haidarasjad, based on your other threads you yourself have yet to apply to, let alone be accepted by, any university. Ask yourself if you are in a position to provide advice to other posters on topics like this one. The clear answer is no.
