Letter of Rec

As a senior in the upcoming college application process I had a question about letters of recommendation. As a junior I took classes at the local college. Would it be looked down upon if I got letters of recommendation from a professor? Thanks

I don’t think it matters if they are HS teachers or college profs as long as they know you well and will have good examples they can use of how wonderful you are. If it was a college lecture class where you got a great grade but had little interaction with the teacher I wouldn’t use that because there isn’t much they can say beyond the grade which will already be in your transcript. My son ended up using a science teacher rather than a math teacher because in science they did more group work and labs which gave the teacher more aspects of his academic strengths he could talk about not just that he was smart which is obvious from grades and test scores.
