<p>if you meet a really cool professor your freshman/sophomore year and you really like them, should you get them to write letter of rec for you? </p>

<p>But that's weird because you won't be applying to med school like til your senior. But then again, you won't have them for classes anymore and if you get them to write it later they'll probably forget you. Hmm..</p>

<p>This is a good idea. Have them write the letter and file it away, and request it again in March of your junior year.</p>
