Letter of Recommendation Question

I am filling out a questionnaire for a teacher who is writing a letter of recommendation for me. I plan on majoring in political science or international studies, but she was my AP Chemistry teacher. Should she or should she not mention my possible majors, since the fields are not at all related?

Your potential majors (this can vary from school to school) tend to be irrelevant to admission decisions. Your interests may change, and schools know this. Let her figure out what to mention. Your study habits, class participation, and initiative/desire to learn are far more important than how well you can handle a pipette.
