<p>I am applying to a summer program which requires letters of recommendation. Can that letter be from a basketball coach? Or does it have to be from a academic teacher?</p>
<p>Why don’t you ask the program sponsors or read more closely the brochures? We’d only be guessing here, right?</p>
<p>Cornell Summer College only states a recommendation from a teacher :(</p>
<p>It’s an academic program? I’m sure they want a recommendation from an academic teacher.</p>
