<p>Hello all,</p>

<p>I am trying to apply for a summer internship which is asking for a letter of recommendation from a teacher who can attest my ability of performance. </p>

<p>The problem is, I want to ask the same teacher for a letter of recommendation for my college admissions as well. Is it impolite to ask if he could write 2 of the similar, if not exact same letter of recommendation? Or is there an alternative way of doing so? Like possibility of duplicating the letter so my teacher does not have to write two same letters. </p>

<p>I asked a teacher for another LoR, and he just gave me the same one he had given me before (just printed it off the screen).</p>
