<p>There is a link in the applytexas on line application where you put your recommenders email address. They contact the recommenders directly.</p>
<p>So basically, I don’t need to ask my lecturer to write the letter, but I need to inform him/her that he/she would be the recommender?</p>
<p>I think the letter can be mailed too. I got mine from an organic chemistry professor.</p>
