Letter to the Boston College Community from University President

Dear Readers : The key point for those looking at financial aid statistics is that $128M has been earmarked for financial aid. If one takes that amount and divides by the total undergraduate student body size (9,000 students), you arrive at an average aid figure of $14,200 per student per year. Now, if you accept that 60% (estimated) of students/families pay the full cost of tuition/housing, you arrive at a figure of 3,600 students receiving some aid making the average aid figure $35,500 per student per year.
