I got a letter too! I don't think that I have that strong of stats.
1300 SAT (650, 650), but I don't think they received that score yet (I took the test the 22nd) so the one that they have is a 1250.
4.28 GPA at the time (4.32 now)
Ranked 7/ 464 (now 4/464).
650/660/620 SATIIs
I sent in like four letter of recs though. All of them were good, three were really good
I have really good ECs and Essays, so maybe that is why I got a letter

Awesome. Another kid without amazing stats. Are you in-state or out-of-state?

I am out of state (Arizona)

I read your other post saying that you don't have high stats either. Just wondering, what are your stats?

someone earlier on this mentioned the letters being associated with echols/rodman scholars. what are those?

1380, 32 ACT, 760 Writing, 740 Math IIC, 660 Spanish, 3.8 UW

torresttowerss.... u have exact stats as i do except the outstanding recs and class rank

i got it...1540...780W, 770LIT,750IIC,720US...4.4uw...

i got a letter and applied to engineering

your stats?

shjanama77 4.4uw... um, how is that possible?

Does anyone know if these letters are being sent in "rounds" or anything like that? Were the ones that you guys received the only batch? I'm just wondering, because last year I don't think they were even sent out until around March 1, but it seemed like they all came at the same time.

I would guess it would have to be in batches, because the deadline for turning in mid-year reports was Feb. 15. Did anyone who received a letter not turn in their mid-year reports until after the 13th or 14th?

one person did. she / he posted a thread in the chances section. how she got a letter, but still hasnt turned in her mid year report

ooppss..i meant weighted...sorry!
