I got likely, but no course catalog or letter as of yet… I hope I’ll get one, and that its on its way!

No, x501, I was ED… it was postmarked March 12 and I got it on the 15th

do 4 colors alternate every year? or is purple completely random. i remember seeing purple wellesley gear and being confused because i thought wellesley’s color was blue…now i know the reason for so much purple!

The Wellesley College color is blue (it might be a more specific blue than just “blue”…).

And then all class years rotate four class colors:
2010 - purple
2011 - yellow
2012 - red
2013 - green

2014 - purple!
etc.

A couple years ago my D, a LL recipient, got a large tube from Wellesley (in addition to the catalog and card). Inside, there was a very nice poster. I wonder if Wellesley still sends them. If not, here is a page with some awesome photos of the campus. You can print your favorite one or set it as your desktop background :)

BunsenBurner - Wow, thanks! All the pictures are so pretty I hope they still end out the poster, though.

Anyone who is an EE likely receive a letter from a student?

I got a poster when I applied/was accepted. If you don’t happen to get one in the mail and you come visit campus, there are a bunch at the admissions office!!

x501: Yes. I’m an EE likely and I just got a letter from a student today. It was postmarked 2/16 if that helps and I live REALLY close to campus.

sciencegal - Thanks for the info. I hope I receive one soon :)

@sciencegal: thanks, that makes me feel better!! but you mean 3/16 right?

LOL yeah, sciencegal you mean 3/16, right?

I wonder if all likelies receive a letter from a student? I still haven’t received one :(

I just got mine today, x501. Maybe you’ll get yours soon, too.

ME TOOO!!! I haven’t received anything Just the coursebook, which was 2009-2010, not 2011-2012

2011-2012 is not in print yet. You are probably interested in 2010-2011 which won’t be printed in book form until this summer. Pdfs of those courses should be available through the registrar’s website/ department websites soon, if they aren’t available already.

I’m an international student and I got possible in EE…so the letters are only for likelies?

Daughter got a nice letter this week from a Wellesley first-year, who sent it in a purple envelope and had some other nice purple touches on the letter. Then she got a course catalog Saturday. The nice stream of things that have arrived since her likely letter have helped maintain her/our excitement about Wellesley as other schools’ decisions have started to arrive.
