Letters anyone?

I am completely shocked. I was waitlisted at BC and Wesleyan so I didn’t expect an acceptance!

Congrats to everyone. There is a school for everyone, even if it might not have been the one you planned on. =)

Accepted cheaa.

DreamFantasy,
did they reject you also by email like HanhNga154?

Best of luck to those yet to hear, and my condolences to those who didn’t receive the response they had hoped for.

Do you guys think the personal handwritten note was actually handwritten? Or was it a computer? Looks legitimate to me, as the ink is a different color from their typical fake-handwritten scribbles.

accepted!
definitely computer, probably written on a tablet, i felt the back and looked at it through the light there’s no indentation or sign of real pen ink.

Haha I still thought it was a nice touch =)

Accepted.
Colgate seems like a great place but I’m leaning towards UChicago. Better opportunities for pre-med.
Congrats to everyone who got in! Good luck to those on the WL.

congrats guys!

anyone from CT here back yet? i just got waitlisted by my two other reach schools, so i’m really hoping for some good news from colgate.

I’m from CT and got it today, Fairfield County. I think you’ll definitely be getting it tomorrow!

i live in Maryland and got it, if you live in CT and havent gotten it our postal system is a joke…

I think the message might be real, because I accidentally dripped water on the message and it ran while the normal type didn’t.

Accepted!!!
GPA 3.95ish
SAT 2120
ACT 33

Pretty excited! I got waitlisted at BC today, which was one of my top choices, but I’m super excited about Colgate!! =D!!

Me neither. I’d rather give it to someone who really wants to go there…plus, being waitlisted sucks and doesn’t help decision-making at all! >:(

Got in as an International Student who applied for Financial Aid.

Applied for Economics

IB: Predicted 38-40/45

I like the personalized letter they write :)

Person18,

When you have a moment I would really appreciate it if you would compare and contrast Colgate and U Chicago. They seem extremely different in terms of academic focus, setting, size, scope and campus life. How interesting- and fortunate for you- that you have a choice to make between the two!

I have heard that Colgate has many more overlapping applications with larger universities versus smaller liberal arts colleges. (Colgate is 2,900 undergraduates, Chicago is 5,100 undergraduates, LACs are typically around 1,800 students.) Your case would appear to be a good example. How did you happen to put them on your list in the first place?

Good luck with your ultimate choice!

My son got accepted. 2290, perfect gpa

I got accepted yesterday

Congrats to everyone who got in! Good luck to everyone who is on the waitlist.
