Great news! We just learned that my daughter is accepted for the class of 2011! Terry Cowdry said that letters will be going in the mail on Friday. Wishing everyone good news too!

Congratulations to your daughter -- and you! The legacy continues!

awwww, feels good to be accepted

Congratulations!
Will definately run to the mailbox today (monday)!

My son's acceptance came today.
The mail was almost an hour late... he was very anxious < s >

My son's acceptance letter also arrived today (Massachusetts). He's thrilled.

Congratulations!
Did the letter include informationo n financial aid? Did the aid meet your need?

The letter had the financial aid information.
Both grants/scholarships and loans were listed.

It's a pretty pricey school, even with the grants.

I've not visited the school, my wife and son have. My wife is quite impressed with the school, son was smiling when he opened the package < s >

Happiness in the household!

any international student that got in

i havn't heard anythin yet

Feeling a little reflective here...........

We all know that our kids are neat individuals. And yet we are forced into a situation where the colleges control our thougths and emotions these weeks while they learn what we already know!

I wish you all peace of mind while you learn your options.

my mind would be at peace if i get that acceptance letter...

Got in with a great financial aid package... I'm happy!!

i got my acceptance letter on march 19th. and i am an international student... good luck the ones still waiting...

For those accepted... was there any merit aid ? ...How much and do you think it will affect your decision to attend ....

ColoPop-

Yes, SLU offers merit scholarships. They are guaranteed for 4 years if you maintain the required GPA.

Yes, it could swing a decision.

I got one of the Sesquicentennial Scholarships ($80,000), but so far, it looks like other colleges are matching it pretty well with grants. The overall package was pretty comparable.

So here's a rather personal q... if one were looking for a general liberal arts education and had acceptances from St. Law U and Skid which one would you choose... assuming Slaw provided attractive merit scholarship $'s ?

I got both, and I'm leaning towards St. Lawrence right now, mainly because I liked the feel of the campus better, and felt things were more personal than at Skidmore.
