Hi everyone! I am just wondering if any of you lovely people know HOW Colgate sends admission notifications.

I know that (according to the portal) the "admission decisions [will be communicated] on or about March 20," but I can't seem to find out if this communication will occur online, via smoke and air, or via snail-mail.

Additionally, if the decisions are coming by mail, does anyone have any insight as to whether the statement on the portal means the letters will be SENT around March 20 or that they should be RECEIVED around March 20?

I don’t know if this applies to everyone, but I got my decision in the mail. Like hard copy, big huge envelope dealie. It might be different for you. I just know that I was shocked because they said EDII should take a few weeks but I got it in 6 days. Best of luck!

My son got his acceptance in the (snail) mail on Feb. 25—(regular not ED). You should be hearing any day now if they said March 20—I would expect it would be in regular mail. Best of luck to you.

Yeah I got an acceptance letter about two weeks ago for regular decision. But I was an alumni memorial scholar, so I think they might send those out earlier. Look in your physical mailbox. I don’t think that they do decisions online.

Thank you all, I hope mine comes soon/has already come…I recently moved and apparently some of the colleges are still sending letters to the wrong house! I’ll be sure to call the new owners tonight!
