Please note: early action decisions will be mailed on December 16. As always, we will not give out decisions by email, online, or by phone.

darn i am leaving on the 17th, so there is no way i will get it before i leave :(. does anyone know if they send other info through email (ie not the acceptance but something else that would let you know that you are in??)

No Im not sure (since i obviously did not apply to princeton) but my friend said if they didnt get it on the 14th (via mail) then they can call the office for their results.

sorry guys, but it looks like you CANNOT get your decision by phone or email. i did hear something about changing your address to where you are going on vacation... but i don't if that actually works.

Where did you see this notice? It doesn't seem to be anywhere on son's account..... We also looked at the admissions office website and can't find it there either.

I live about 40 minutes away from UChicago... I'm totally willing to save them the postage and go down there.... as long as I can find out NOW... haha.

If you ask me, this is totally poor on Chicago's part. There is no reason for the letters to be SENT out so late--nevermind that they will be received after the weekend, for most people.

hey, may be off topic, but does ne1 know when the letters will arrive in upstate NY, if they are mailed out on the 16? I'm anticipating receiving it on Mon, is this reasonable? Thanks

i'm pretty sure that they overnight acceptance letters and mail rejection letters regular which means that the longer you have to wait for your letter, the more likely it is that you have been rejected.
