Letters of reccomandation

Hi
I am an international student applying next year. If any of you knows , can a student choose as reccomanders 2 teachers he/she has had but they are not teachers of his school anymore? More precisely, i had decided to choose as reccomanders 2 teachers that gave me lesson last year (10th grade) , but this year they had moved into another school. Is this allowed? Does this affect anything ? Thank you.

Yes, it’s permissible. Teachers retire, change schools, etc. The teacher does not have to currently teach at your school, but s/he should have taught you in an academic course at your school.

@skieurope thank you for your response , you just made my day
