Letters of recomendation?

Yeah, really.

The MIT one doesn’t say anything about a letter, just filling out the ‘forms’

The Rice one says ‘teacher evaluation’ which is, I assume, the form from the common app.

Stanford says “teacher evaluation”… which I THINK means the forms on the common apps. (since on the common apps, there are 2 forms called “teacher evaluation 1, teacher evaluation 2”

So yes, REALLY.

Because I always heard of WRITING a letter of recommendation, I think its weird that all they need is just to fill out some forms.
All I’m asking is if the schools think of these fill out forms as letter of recommendations, or these forms are just… more bulk? that teachers still have to write a letter, etc?

Thanks.
