<p>How much importance does Cornell place on letters of recommendation? Also, what is an excellent SAT score - something that will help you be "safe" in the applicant pool? </p>

<p>SAT,GPA, course rigor are used to predict if you can handle the academic demands of Cornell. Letters of rec., essays, EC’s are used to determine what type of person you are. There is no “safe” score.</p>
