I applied to Penn ED. One of my teachers that submitted an extra letter of recommendation received a thank-you card from Penn, similar to the ones many other universities send out. My other recommenders did not, however. Is this how it usually works? Have any of your teachers received one (ED applicants)?

dunno, mine havent.

but i definitely think the teachers who write your recs should receive thank-yous from you.

I sent a thank-you to my interviewer.

I will buy my teacher and counselor nice little gifts and also make thank you cards for them later on.

I'll bake my teachers a crumbcake and subscribe them to Better Homes & Gardens.

haha yes, I will definitely be sending all of my recommenders thank-yous when the admissions process is finally over.

thank yous and tiny gifts is basically standard... if its an english teacher maybe a favorite book, if a math teacher maybe a math book/math tshirt, i dk

thank you email to my interviewer too
