<p>Does Penn supply us with forms to give our teachers? I know the teachers fill out that questionnaire on the Common App but then what do they use as a guide to write the letters?</p>
<p>The common app form is all you give them. Most teachers will know what to do, because they have done it before. Mine just wrote their own letters, filled out part of the common app form, then mailed a copy of the letter and form to the school. Of course there is the online option now too, where you fill out the teacher’s email on the common app website and they will contact your teacher. Your school may prefer one option over the other though.</p>
<p>Your teachers don’t write letters of rec specific to each school you apply to. They’ll just write a general letter based on the good qualities you have shown in class etc.</p>
